Full healing takes 7–10 days. During this period: avoid wetting the scalp, excessive sweating, direct UV exposure and swimming. The final result stabilises after 4 weeks.
A properly executed SMP looks natural in any lighting condition. Our technique avoids colour oversaturation and exaggerated dot sizes that can give away the procedure. We calibrate everything for naturalness in the strongest light.
Results last 4–6 years with proper sun protection. UV exposure is the main factor that fades pigment over time. Use SPF on your scalp when outdoors.
No. A touch-up performed 4–6 years after the initial procedure is a separate treatment and is charged at the time. It is not included in the initial price.
Yes. It can be removed with dermatological laser. Our pigments are specially formulated for easier removal compared to standard tattoo ink.
No — if the correct SMP pigments are used. Our pigments are specially formulated for the scalp and do not contain compounds that shift to blue or green. They fade naturally to grey-brown.
Absolutely. SMP for hair density is very popular among women with diffuse thinning — hormonal, post-partum or alopecia diffusa. The technique is fully adapted to female hair patterns.
Yes. SMP is excellent for camouflaging post-transplant scars and filling in density. The scar must be fully healed — minimum 12 months after the transplant.
Yes. Main contraindications: pregnancy, breastfeeding, uncontrolled diabetes, active autoimmune diseases, anticoagulant medication, active skin infections or inflammatory conditions on the scalp.
