What types of alopecia can we treat?

Type 01

Patchy hair loss in localised areas. SMP camouflages affected zones with precision, blending seamlessly with existing hair.

Type 02

Type 03

Generalised thinning across the scalp — hormonal, stress-related or genetic. SMP adds visual density throughout.

Do I need to shave my head?

It depends on the type of alopecia. For areata (patchy loss), shaving is usually not necessary — the pigment is blended into existing hair.

For totalis or advanced diffuse alopecia, a close shave produces the best result and the most natural appearance.
